Samsung W21 5G is the alleged foldable smartphone which is now tipped to launch in India on November 4. The device is speculated to be introduced in China and is said to be similar to Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 which was launched in China only. The only difference between both the devices is that the company has collaborated with China Telecom carrier for 5G connectivity for the upcoming device. While the new foldable phone will not be powered by Snapdragon 855 SoC instead it will equip Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SoC to offer 5G connectivity. The device has also appeared on TENNA revealing all the key specifications of the phone.
According to a tipster, Samsung W21 5G is speculated to hit the shelves on November 4 in China as the company’s next foldable device. The tipster has revealed this information by sharing a launch poster that suggested the launch event to begin at 7.30 pm local time and 3 PM IST. Also, it will be available in a golden colour finish. As of now, there is no information with regard to the pricing of the foldable device but the South Korean giant has tied up with China Telecom carrier for 5G connectivity.
Speaking of the specification Samsung W21 5G is said to be sharing similarities with Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 that arrived in China. The alleged phone was also spotted listed on the Chinese regulatory TENAA bearing a model number SM-W2021. According to the listing, the smartphone will feature a 7.53-inch main display with 1,768×2,208 pixels of resolution and a 6.23-inch cover display with 816×2,260 pixels of resolution. The phone is suggested to be powered by Snapdragon 865+ processor with 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage and will run Android 10 OS out of the box.
Samsung W21 5G might also include a three 12-megapixel camera setup set up on the back of the phone. It is suggested to come with a 12-megapixel selfie camera. As per the listing, the upcoming phone will also feature an in-display fingerprint sensor. It may also carry a dual-cell battery, a 2,090mAh and a 2,160mAh.
