Microsoft’s video conferencing app Skype has now added a Meet Now feature on its platform. It is the easiest way to stay connected with your friends and family and also allows video conferences. The video and voice call to the other Skype users are free. At the moment when everyone is working from home and has to stay at home due to the lockdown situation, this app can also save a huge amount of money on phone bills. The new features on the platform allow the users to host a group conversation without having to download the app or sign-ups.

Skype has introduced a new feature called Meet Now that lets you invite Skype as well as non-Skype contacts for a video call. The meeting can be commenced by generating a unique link and sharing it with others to kick off a video or an audio call. The company has introduced this feature to take on its rival Zoom and Houseparty that have gained a lot of popularity amidst the coronavirus crisis.
