Sony launched its new wireless speakers SRS-XB43, SRS-XB33 and SRS-XB23 in India starting at Rs 8,990

All the three wireless speakers will be available for purchase from today onwards

The Japanese electronics giant Sony has announced the launch of its Extra Bass wireless speaker range in India. The company has introduced three new wireless speakers namely SRS-XB43, SRS-XB33 and SRS-XB23. The line-up of XB wireless speakers comes with an ‘Extra Bass’ sound support and will be available for purchase from today onwards that starts at Rs 8,990. The new wireless speakers by Sony comes with built-in Google Assistant and Siri support for hands-free control. All the devices are 1P67 rated for dust, rust and water resistance.

The SRS-XB43 is the expensive one in the series being priced at Rs 16,990. The speaker will be made available in two colour options black and blue. While the SRS-XB33 will be available with a price tag of Rs 12,990. It will be offered in three colour options of black, blue and red. Whereas the last SRS-XB23 wireless speaker will be carrying a price tag of Rs 8,990. This device will be available in four colour options of black, blue, red and green.

All the three Sony wireless speakers are scheduled to go on sale in India from today onward across all its online as well as offline retailers and e-commerce websites.

All the wireless speakers are equipped with enhanced audio quality and are designed to support deep and punchy bass for the better sound experience. The SRS-XB43 sports a rectangular diaphragm design which ensures deep bass and clear vocals while the SRS-XB33 is an all-rounder with tough design and long-lasting battery life and SRS-XB23 are perfect outdoor companion with easy portability and compact design. According to the company, all the Sony speakers have Extra Bass sound support which is achieved on the XB wireless speaker line up through Sony’s newly developed X-Balanced Speaker Unit.  The unit’s non-circular shape ensures maximum punchy bass, by increasing sound pressure around the speaker’s diaphragm. The series is IP67 rated for dustproof, rustproof, and waterproof. Over that, the speakers are also saltwater resistant so it can be carried along to a beach, forest, or dessert.

All three wireless speakers feature a shockproof durable design to withstand the inevitable knocks, bumps, and scrapes. For a voice-controlled and hands-free experience, the speakers are Google Assistant supported. You can take a call by just pressing the multi-function button and a built-in mic enables you to take hands-free calls from selected smartphones. SRS-XB43 and SRS-XB33 can deliver 24 hours of music playback while SRS-XB23 supports up to 12 hours of battery backup and up to 10 hours when in Extra Bass mode. The speakers can be charged using the latest Type-C USB and can support battery charging by connecting one’s smartphone via USB Type-A.
