Tecno Spark Power 2 with 7-inch display and a 6,000mAh battery launched in India

Transsion holding brand Tecno Mobile last month introduced Spark 5 in India that comes with a quad rear camera and a 5,000mAh battery. Now the company has Tecno Spark Power 2 in the country. Tecno Mobile has served the smartphone with a massive 6,000mAh battery. Moreover, it is powered by MediaTek Helio P22 processor and features a large water drop-style display. There is a quad rear camera set up with a 16-megapixel main sensor. Read on to know more about the lately launched mobile handset by Tecno.

Tecno Spark Power 2 has been launched in India in a single 4GB of RAM with 64GB of storage option. The price of the variant has been set at Rs 9,999. The device will be offered in two colour options Ice Jadeite and Misty Grey. The handset is scheduled to go on sale in the country via e-commerce website Flipkart on June 23 starting at 12 AM midnight.

The Tecno Spark Power 2 comes with a tall 7-inch HD+ waterdrop-style notch display with 720×1640 pixels of resolution. It will be offering a 20.5:9 aspect ratio and a 90.6 percent screen-to-body ratio with 480 nits of brightness. The newly launched smartphone runs on HIOS 6.1 OS based on the top of Android 10. Under the hood, there is an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 MTK6762 processor clocked at 2GHz. It is coupled with 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage option. The device comes with a dedicated slot to expand the internal memory using a microSD card up to 256GB.

For taking photos and videos Tecno Spark Power 2 features a quad rear camera set up that includes a 16-megapixel primary camera with f/1.85 aperture. The camera system is further assisted by a secondary 5-megapixel wide-angle lens with a 115-degree field of view, a tertiary 2-megapixel macro lens and lastly an AI lens to help with the bokeh effect. The rear camera supports several modes such as the Bokeh effect, Auto Scene Detection, AI Body Shaping, AI HDR, AR Mode, Google Lens, AI Beauty, and Panorama. 

For taking selfies, there is a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and a 78.3-degree viewing angle.  While the selfie camera is supported by AI Beauty, Wide Selfie, AR Mode, Portrait Mode and Custom Beauty Modes among others.

In terms of connectivity, there is Bluetooth v5, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac. The smartphone boasts a 6,000mAh battery supported by an 18W fast charger. The phone is touted to deliver up to four days of battery life on a single charge. It comes with 376 hours of standby time, 37 hours of calling, 19 hours of internet, 155 hours of music playback, 13 hours of gaming, and 14 hours of video playback. The device also sports a dedicated Google Assistant button and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for authentication.
