Today, Motorola has launched its brand new Moto Razr in India. The device was officially launched last year in November in the Canadian and US markets. After almost four months the device has finally made its way to the Indian market. The smartphone was launched in India via online streaming only due to Coronavirus spread. The foldable phone will go on sale in the country through the e-commerce website Flipkart. The smartphone reminisces about the Razr V3 from 2004 with its dedicated retro mode. Motorola Razr Pricing and availability details
The Lenovo owned Motorola launched its most awaited clamshell design foldable phone Motorola Razr in India today. The company launched the phone in a single 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage model at Rs 1,24,999 in the country. The device will be available in a sole Noir Black colour option.
The e-commerce website Flipkart is the sales partner of the newly launched phone which is going to be available for purchase from April 2 onwards.
The lunch offers include a Rs 10,000 cashback to customers using Citibank debit and credit card. The Jio customers will be eligible to avail double data benefits on the recharge of Rs 4,999 with 1.4TB of data and 2 years of validity.
The company will be offering a MotoCare Accident Damage Protection Plan in which the buyers can get their Motorola Razr repaired at a discounted price within 30 days from the date of purchase. The Plan also includes a one-time screen replacement at Rs 7,999.
Motorola Razr Specifications and features
Motorola Razr comes with a foldable screen which when folded features a 2.7-inch Quick View display that offers 600×800 pixels of resolution on the outside. The outer screen can be used to check notifications, access Google Assistant, control music as well as take selfies. When unfolded it offers a 6.2-inch flexible OLED HD+ display with 876×2142 pixels of resolution and 21:9 aspect ratio. The bottom chin also sports a fingerprint sensor. The device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage which is not expandable.
In terms of cameras, Moto Razr comes with a single primary camera with a 16-megapixel sensor and f/1.7 aperture. This camera set up has been placed on the other side above the secondary display which also takes selfies all without unfolding the phone. It comes with a dedicated selfie camera with a 5-megapixel sensor that has been placed above the main display.
As there is no headphone jack so the company provides a headset from Denon along with a box that has an echo chamber built in combined with downward-firing speakers.
The all-new Motorola Razr houses a 2,510mAh battery that comes with a 15W TurboPower fast-charging support.
