The Moto G37 and Moto G37 Power are now available in India. Both versions are rated IP64, which means they are protected against dust and splashes. These smartphones are running on the Android 16 operating system, which is the latest OS. The Moto G37 has a 5,200 mAh battery, whereas the Moto G37 Power has a 7,000 mAh battery, which is ideal for those who want more battery life. Both devices are powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor.

Price in India and Availability

The Moto G37 is introduced in India at a starting price of Rs 13,999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage version. The Moto G37 is available in two colours: Pantone Capri and Pantone Impenetrable.

The Moto G37 Power version, meanwhile, begins at Rs 15,999 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variation and goes up to Rs 18,999 for the more powerful 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model. This model also comes with similar colour options, including the third, Pantone Nautical Blue.

Customers can purchase the Moto G37 and Moto G37 Power models with an instant discount of Rs. 5,000. This discount is applicable for transactions made using IDFC, ICICI, and SBI Credit Cards. Moreover, an enhanced discount of Rs. 5,500 is offered for EMI transactions conducted with an IDFC Bank credit card.

The JIO SIM Offer has a major advantage of 5000 GB of cloud storage for 18 months. And users get free access to Google Gemini Pro. This deal is subject to terms and conditions.

Both handsets will be available to buy beginning May 25. Consumers may get them via several purchasing options, like Flipkart, the Motorola India website, and retail outlets.

Specifications and Features

The Moto G37 and G37 Power are both running Android 16 and are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 SoC. The G37 model comes with 4GB LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB UFS 2.2 storage, while the G37 Power variant includes up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. Both devices have a RAM extension up to 12 GB using RAM Boost technology and expandable storage up to 1 TB with a microSD card.

The display is a 6.6-inch HD+ LCD with a resolution of 720 x 1,604 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate and a pixel density of 264 ppi. Additional features include a 120Hz touch sampling rate, a peak brightness capacity of up to 1,050 nits (HBM) and a pixel density of 264ppi. The aspect ratio is 20.05:9, and the screen-to-body ratio is approx. 89.6%.

The design is backed by PMMA or vegan leather and a frame of polycarbonate, covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. The device measures 166.23 x 76.50 x 8.89 mm and weighs 215 g. It also has an IP64 water-resistant rating and MIL-STD-810H certification.

The primary rear camera is a 50MP camera with an f/1.8 aperture and has features like Dual Capture, Night Vision Mode and Pro Mode, as well as sophisticated software capabilities like Google Lens integration. Video capturing goes up to 2K at 30fps. The front camera is similarly 8MP with comparable software features, and it can shoot 2K video too.

The G37 Power is powered by a massive 7000mAh battery that can last up to 62 hours of use and supports 30W TurboPower charging and 6W reverse charging. The standard G37, on the other hand, comes with a 5,200mAh battery with support for 20W fast charging.

The mobile phones support 5G, 4G, 3G and 2G networks with different frequency bands for each type.

Connectivity options for the gadget include dual SIM, Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The gadget also has an accelerometer, a gyroscope, an ambient light sensor and a fingerprint reader on the side for security. The device comes with face unlock and ThinkShield technology.
