Transferring file between Samsung smartphone and Windows 10 PC is no more a hassle

The maximum size of each files should not go beyond 512MB.

Many a times, transferring files from your smartphone to computer and vice-versa gives you unnecessary headache. Now, Samsung and Microsoft have charted a better way to ease your life by enabling the Galaxy smartphone and tablet users to simply drag and drop files to Windows 10 PCs.

This easy way to transfer files and pictures can be accessed by using an updated version of Microsoft’s Your Phone app along with Samsung’s link to Windows v1.5 (or higher), as reported by SamMobile.

If you wish to transfer file from your smartphone to your PC, you simply need to long press on a file till you see a checkmark on the screen and then long press once more to allow the drag-and-drop option to function. Mind you! You can even select additional files if you have to send more than one document or picture.

In order to transfer files to your Samsung smartphone from you PC, just click on the files on the Windows 10 device. Now, you need to drag those files and drop them over to Microsoft’s Your Phone app window.

However, there are some restrictions too. While transferring the files between Samsung smartphone and Windows 10 PC, one needs to ensure that they should be on the same Wi-Fi network. Moreover, one cannot send more than 100 files at a go and maximum size of each files should not go beyond 512MB.
