Transsion holding smartphone brand Tecno Mobile has launched its new mobile phones in the market. The company has introduced two mobile handsets namely Tecno Spark 5 and Tecno Spark 5 Air. Both the smartphone looks similar in design and the device is the successor of Spark 4 that arrived in the market in September last year. The company released the smartphone under the budget segment with a punch-hole design display and quad cameras.

The Chinese start-up launched two new devices Tecno Spark 5 and Tecno Spark 5 in Ghana. Spark 5 price has been set at GHS 719 that translates to Rs 9,360 for the 2GB of RAM with 32GB storage variant whereas the Spark 5 Air pricing is still not known. Both the mobile handset will be available in three colour options Ice Jadeite, Misty Grey, Spark Orange, and Vacation Blue. The device is expected to make its way to the Indian market as the company has already launched all the previous models of the Techno 4 series and other mobile phones.
Tecno Spark 5 specifications
the smartphone comes with a 6.6-inch HD+ hole punch design display with 720×1,600 pixels of resolution. It is powered by an unnamed octa-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM with 32GB of storage option. It comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor along with a Face unlock support for authentication. It runs on HiOS 6.1 on top of Android 10 OS.
For cameras, Tecno Spark 5 features a quad rear camera setup that includes a 13MP main camera sensor, a secondary 2MP depth sensor, a tertiary 2MP macro lens and lastly an AI camera. The camera system supports modes such as AI bokeh mode and HDR mode. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera with dual-LED flash support.
Moreover, the smartphone houses a 5000mAh battery. For connectivity, there is 3.5mm audio jack, USB-Type C port, Bluetooth as well as Wi-Fi. The sensor on board includes an Ambient Light sensor, Proximity sensor, and Accelerometer.
Tecno Spark 5 Air specifications
The Tecno Spark 5 Air features a larger 7-inch HD+ with hole-punch display and 720×1,640 pixels of resolution. The smartphone runs on HiOS 6 on top of Android 10 (Go edition). The name of the processor is not known which is paired with 2GB RAM along with 32GB of onboard storage option. For authentication, there is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a face unlock sensor.
