After bringing two of its smartphones from its latest Vivo V20 series in India, the Chinese smartphone company is all set to add its top variant that is Vivo V20 Pro to the line-up. The launch is now set for December 2 however earlier it was tipped to launch later this month. Also prior to its launch, the device’s prebooking’s in the country was also opened but through offline channels. The smartphone is going to sit alongside Vivo V20 and V20 SE. The upcoming smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC. Moreover, it has dual selfie cameras in addition to 33W fast charging support.
According to media invites Vivo V30 Pro launch is confirmed for December 2 in India. However, the company is likely to hold a virtual online event as there has been no event details.
Vivo recently started taking registration for the device in the country through offline channels in India. The phone is slated to come with a price tag of Rs 29,990. In addition to this, the bank offers include 10 percent cashback via ICICI Bank and Bank of Baroda, easy EMI options, and Jio benefits, among others.
The pre-registration price of the device is also near to what it was being offered in Thailand. To recall Vivo V20 Pro was introduced in Thailand in October at TBH 14,999 that translates to Rs 35,300 for the single 8GB RAM.
As for the specification, the Vivo V20 Pro will run Funtouch OS 11 on top of Android 10. It will be featuring a 6.44-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with 1,080×2,400 pixels of resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio with HDR10 support. It is going to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor for 5G support paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage option.
The V20 Pro will also have a triple rear camera setup that includes a primary 64-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL GW1 sensor with an f/1.89 aperture. Further assisted by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. While on the front the dual selfie camera setup on the phone that houses a 44-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.0 aperture and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle with a field of view (FoV) of 105 degrees and f/2.28 aperture. The device also includes pre-loaded camera modes such as Dual-View Video, Slo-Mo Selfie Video, Super Night Mode, and Motion Autofocus, among others.
The 5G phone will be housing a 4,000mAh battery that supports a 33W FlashCharge fast charging solution. For connectivity, it will have 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS and a USB Type-C port.
