Vivo V20 with an Eye Autofocus 44-megapixel selfie camera goes official in India: Here are the price and the availability details

The Chinese smartphone company Vivo today unveiled its latest smartphone in India. The company has introduced Vivo V20 in the country that features a 44-megapixel selfie camera with an Eye Auto Focus feature. The device is the follow up of Vivo V19 that was launched in May this year. Prior to its launch in the country, the smartphone already made its debut in Thailand alongside Vivo V20 Pro. Here the company has introduced only the single standard variant. The newly launched phone will be available on Flipkart in the country. The key details of the smartphone include an AMOLED display with HDR10 support, a triple rear camera setup includes a 64-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL GW1 sensor, a 4,000mAh battery and more. Vivo V20 specifications

Vivo V20 comes with a 6.44-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with 1,080×2,400 pixels of resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It runs on Funtouch OS 11, based on Android 11. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage that can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card.

The imaging department has been taken care of by a triple rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL GW1 sensor with f/1.89 aperture. Further assisted by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. The camera setup supports features such as Super Night Mode, Tripod Night Mode, Motion Autofocus, EyeFaceBody Autofocus, Object Autofocus, and Double Exposure. While on the front it comes with a 44-megapixel selfie sensor with an f/2.0 aperture.

Vivo V20

It is backed by a 4,000mAh battery that supports a 33W FlashCharge fast charging solution. For connectivity, it has 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS and a USB Type-C port. In addition to this is an in-display fingerprint sensor on the smartphone for authentication.

Vivo V20 price in India and availability details

Vivo V20 has been introduced in two RAM and storage options. The price of the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage has been set at Rs 24,990 while the 8GB RAM with 256GB internal storage variant has been priced at Rs 27,990. The device will be available in Midnight Jazz, Moonlight Sonata, and Sunset Melody colour options. The mobile phone is now up for pre-order and will be available for sale starting October 20 via e-commerce website Flipkart and Vivo online store as well as multiple offline retailers in the country including Croma, Reliance Digital, Vijay Sales, Poorvika, Sangeetha, Big C and Vivo Exclusive Stores.

The launch offers by the online partners include V-Shield mobile protection, 12 months of no-cost EMI options and an exchange discount of Rs 2,500. Other offers that will be offered by the offline channels include a 10 percent cashback to Bank of Baroda, Federal Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and Zest Money customers and 12 months of extended warranty to Vi customers on the recharge of Rs 819.

Separately the company has also announced that soon it will also be introducing Vivo V20 SE in India as well to the series.
