Vivo V20 Pro with 44-megapixel Eye Auto Focus camera launched in India, sale starts today

In October this year in its V-Series Vivo introduced Vivo V20 Pro smartphone that brought a 44-megapixel Eye Auto Focus camera. Today the Chinese smartphone company has officially introduced this device in India. Vivo mainly focuses on the camera and design of its product and the company is the first to bring an Eye Auto Focus camera to the V20 series, as well as this is a 7.39mm slimmest 5G phone. While the rest of the technical specifications of the smartphone is exactly similar to the Chinese version just like how its sibling entered into the Indian market with no changes to its specification. Vivo today has officially introduced its much-awaited V20 Pro 5G smartphone in India. The device will be available in a single 8GB RAM with a 128GB storage variant priced at Rs 29,990. The smartphone will be available in two colour options Midnight Jazz and Sunset Melody. The sale of the smartphone starts today Via e-commerce retailers in the country via Flipkart, Amazon including Reliance Digital, Sangeethamobiles, and Poorvikamobile along with the offline retailer.

On the purchase of the 5G smartphone via online retailers the company will be offering Rs 2,000 off to ICICI Bank cardholders and Rs 2,500 additional exchange benefit along with V-Shield complete mobile damage protection. No-cost EMI options will also be available for up to 12 months. Whereas offline stores will be offering 10 percent cashback to ICICI Bank, Bank of Baroda, and Zest cardholders. In addition to this, there will be benefits worth Rs 10,000 to Jio subscribers as well as to HDB, Home Credit, and Bajaj Finserv. They are eligible to avail of a one-time screen replacement and can go for the Vivo Upgrade plan offering a guaranteed buyback offer of up to 80 percent.

Speaking on the design first, Vivo V20 Pro is a 7.39mm slimmest 5G phone with AG Matte Glass Finish along with AF Vacuum coating. It comes with a dual-tone step design and will be available in two vibrant colours here in India.

In terms of technical specifications, Vivo V20 Pro is endowed with a 6.44-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with 1,080×2,400 pixels of resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio with HDR10 support and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The device runs on Funtouch OS 11 based on Android 10 and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor for 5G support paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage option.

For Photos and videos, the device features a triple rear camera setup that includes a primary 64-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL GW1 sensor with an f/1.89 aperture. Further assisted by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. The camera setup supports features such as Super Night Mode, Tripod Night Mode, Motion Autofocus, EyeFaceBody Autofocus, Object Autofocus, and Double Exposure.

On the other hand, the dual selfie camera setup on the phone houses a 44-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.0 aperture and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle with a field of view (FoV) of 105 degrees and  f/2.28 aperture. The front camera system supports Dual-View Video, Slo-Mo Selfie Video at 240fps, Steadiface Selfie Video, 4k selfie video at 60fps and Multi-Style Portrait

In addition to this, the 5G phone is fuelled up by a 4,000mAh battery that supports a 33W FlashCharge fast charging solution. For connectivity, it has 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS and a USB Type-C port. The sensors here are an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, e-compass, and gyroscope.
