The Chinese smartphone company Vivo has announced the launch of its new smartphone in the market. The company has introduced two new devices under its V series line up namely Vivo V20 Pro and Vivo V20. Both the phones feature a triple rear camera set up, while the Pro variant has a dual selfie camera setup. Both are powered by Qualcomm’s gaming processor for 5G capabilities. Vivo V20 Pro 5G and Vivo V20 price and availability
Vivo V20 Pro will be available in a single 8GB RAM variant priced at TBH 14,999 that translates to Rs 35,300. The device is now available for reservations in Thailand and will go on sale starting September 30. It has been introduced in various colour options Moonlight Sonata, Midnight Jazz, and Sunset Melody shades. On the other hand, the Vivo V20 pricing and variant are yet to be announced by the company but this will be offered in Midnight Jazz and Sunset Melody colour options. However, there is no word on the international availability of smartphones but hopefully, they are expected to arrive in the Indian market next month.
Vivo V20 Pro 5G specifications
Vivo V20 Pro comes with a 6.44-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with 1,080×2,400 pixels of resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio with HDR10 support. The device runs on Funtouch OS 11 based on Android 10 and is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor for 5G support paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage option.
For Photos and videos, the device features a triple rear camera setup that includes a primary 64-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL GW1 sensor with f/1.89 aperture. Further assisted by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. The camera setup supports features such as Super Night Mode, Tripod Night Mode, Motion Autofocus, EyeFaceBody Autofocus, Object Autofocus, and Double Exposure.
There is a dual selfie camera setup on the phone that houses a 44-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.0 aperture and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle with a field of view (FoV) of 105 degrees and f/2.28 aperture. The front camera system supports Dual-View Video, Slo-Mo Selfie Video, Steadiface Selfie Video, and Multi-Style Portrait
The device has a 4,000mAh battery that supports a 33W FlashCharge fast charging solution. For connectivity, it has 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS and a USB Type-C port.
Vivo V20 specifications
The company has revealed very few details about Vivo V20. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor and runs on Funtouch OS 11 out of the box. It also features a 64-megapixel triple rear camera setup. While on the front there is a single 44-megapixel selfie camera while the battery details remain the same as the pro variant.
