Vivo X300 FE with 50-megapixel telephoto camera launched in India

The smartphone debuted alongside the Vivo X300 Ultra.

Vivo has announced the X300 FE in India. The phone has a 6.31-inch OLED display and features a triple back camera setup with a 50-megapixel telephoto sensor. It will be supplied with a teleconverter kit. It has a powerful 6500mAh battery with 90W FlashCharge to facilitate fast charging. It works on Android 16 with the OriginOS 6 UI and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 CPU. Plus, the phone has an IP68 and IP69 rating, so it’s well protected from dust and immersion in water.

Vivo X300 FE Price in India, Availability

Vivo has listed the X300 FE in India in two variants. The basic variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage will cost Rs 79,999, while the top variant with same RAM but 512GB storage will be priced at Rs 89,999. This smartphone is available in three colour variants – Lilac Purple, Noir Black and Urban Olive.

Accessories such as the Vivo Zeiss Telephoto Extender Gen 2 lens are also available for purchase for Rs 15,999 and a telephoto extender accessories package for Rs 3,999. Customers may get up to 10% discounts on purchases made using SBI cards, IDFC First Bank cards and Axis Bank cards. The Vivo X300 FE is slated to go on sale starting May 14, and it will be accessible on leading online platforms including Flipkart, and Vivo India online store.

Vivo X300 FE Specifications and Features

It is equipped with the latest software environment. The Vivo X300 FE smartphone runs on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. The phone is driven by the potent Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, which has a powerful CPU setup with 2 cores at 3.80GHz and 6 more cores at 3.32GHz, guaranteeing increased performance while multitasking and gaming. The gadget also has an Adreno 829 GPU that offers great graphics capability for a better visual experience, especially for gaming and video watching.

The Vivo X300 FE has a 6.31-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a Full-HD+ resolution of 1,216 x 2,640 pixels. The high-quality screen has a fantastic refresh rate that can be set anywhere between 1Hz and 120Hz, depending on what kind of content you’re viewing, enabling seamless scrolling and playback. The display offers a peak brightness of 5,000 nits, guaranteeing it can be easily seen even outside in bright conditions. With a pixel density of 460ppi, it will provide crisp and clear picture quality.

Coming to the physical specifications, the smartphone measures 150.83 x 71.76 x 7.99 mm and weighs 191g which makes it easy to handle and operate. The construction materials are glass front and rear, joined together by an aluminium alloy frame in the centre, providing style and durability. Apart from that, the display is accredited with low blue light emission, which means it will not strain your eyes if you use it for extended hours. It also supports HDR10+ and Netflix HDR, which means you can have an enhanced viewing experience, especially when you stream high-definition video.

The front camera is a 50MP camera with autofocus and an f/2.0 aperture to capture great selfies and video calls. At the back, you’ll find three cameras. The main camera is a 50MP sensor with a large aperture of f/1.57 that captures some stunning images with good detail and low-light performance. The second camera is a 50MP telephoto camera with OIS and 3x optical zoom, with an aperture of f/2.65 for better zoomed-in shots. The third camera is an 8MP wide-angle camera with an aperture of f/2.2, which is great for landscape shots or wider shots. The camera system also offers a number of scene modes, customising the photographic experience for varied situations and lighting conditions.

The X300 FE comes with a 6,500mAh battery that supports Vivo’s 90W FlashCharge and 40W wireless charging.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 2.4G/5G, Bluetooth 6.0, USB Type-C and GPS. Various sensors are included in the phone. These include an accelerometer, a proximity sensor, a fingerprint sensor and more. Retail packaging contains essential documentation, a Type-C cable, a USB power converter, a SIM ejector, and protective accessories.
