Vivo X50 and Vivo X50 Pro with latest Snapdragon SoC launched in India: Price and availability 

Both the devices come with a quad rear camera set up

Today the Chinese smartphone maker, Vivo, launched its much-awaited X50 series in India. However, the line-up includes three devices but in the country, the company has introduced two smartphones Vivo X50 and Vivo X50 Pro. Also, there is an in-display fingerprint sensor, quad rear camera setup supported by Gimbal Camera System.

Vivo X50 has been launched in two variants of 8GB of RAM with 128GB and 256GB of storage. The price of the 128GB variant has been set at 34,990 while the 256GB variant comes at Rs 37,990. The device comes in two colour options Frost Blue and Glaze Black. The Pro variant of the series will be offered in a single 8GB of RAM with 256GB of storage option and comes with a price tag of Rs 42,990. This will be available in a single Alpha Grey colour option.

Both the smartphones are now available for pre-booking and will go on its first sale starting July 24 via Flipkart, Amazon, Reliance Digital, Croma, Vijay Sales, Paytm Mall, and Tata Cliq.

Vivo X50 specifications

The Vivo X50 features a 6.56-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with 1,080×2,376 pixels of resolution, 398ppi pixel density, 92.8 percent screen-to-body ratio, and HDR support. The device runs on Android 10. Under the hood, there is Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 SoC paired with Adreno 620 GPU with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.

Vivo X50

In terms of imaging, Vivo X50 features a quad rear camera setup consisting of a 48-megapixel primary camera, a 13-megapixel portrait lens, an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 5-megapixel macro lens. The camera set up supports 20x digital zoom, four-axis OIS, EIS, and much more. On the front, there is a 32-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.48 aperture also featuring a plethora of camera features such as a super night view, portrait, panorama, dynamic photo, AR cute shot, multi-style beauty, beauty makeup, filter, portrait light effect among others.

The connectivity options on the phone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. While the phone equips a 4,200mAh battery that supports 33W Flash Charge fast charging tech.

Vivo X50 Pro specifications

Vivo X50 Pro runs on Android 10 and is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC paired with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS2.1 storage. The handset features a 6.56-inch full-HD+ 3D Curved Ultra O AMOLED Screen with 1,080×2,376 pixels of resolution. The display supports HDR 10+, 90Hz refresh rate along with 180Hz touch response rate.

Vivo X50 Pro

For optics, there is a quad-camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel main camera with f/1.6 aperture, a 13-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.46 aperture, an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with f/3.4 aperture, and an 8-megapixel macro lens with f/2.2 aperture. For selfies, there is also a 32-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.45 aperture. The camera features camera modes such as portrait, panorama, dynamic photo, slow motion, short video and others.

The device boasts a 4,315mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. In terms of connectivity, there is SA and NSA 5G, USB Type-C, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1 among others.
