Vivo has brought out a new smartphone in India, the Vivo Y17. The Vivo Y17 is part of the Y-series smartphones from the Chinese smartphone maker. Earlier, the device was listed on India’s official Vivo website on April 24, but now it is launched in the Indian market. The smartphone comes with triple-rear camera setup, 5,000mAh battery along with a MediaTek Helio processor. The newly launched Vivo Y17 comes with some impressive features such as Ultra Gaming Mode paired with Dual Turbo mode, which gives it a better lag-free gaming performance.
Vivo Y17 price and launch offers
The Vivo Y17 holds a price tag of Rs 17,990 for the 4GB RAM/128GB storage and it comes in two colour options – Mineral Blue and Mystic Purple. The newly launched device is available on Flipkart, Amazon, Paytm along with the official Vivo e-store and authorised retail stores across the country.
The Vivo Y17 comes with few launch offers on the purchase of the device from online and retail outlets. The customers of the Vivo Y17 gets an additional exchange discount of Rs. 1,000 along with no-cost EMI for up to 9 months. Other offers include 5% cashback on purchase of device using SBI credit and debit cards along with 5% cashback by credit card down-payment, EMIs starting at Rs 1,499, and no-cost EMI plans for up to 12 months. Reliance Jio customers will also get benefits up to Rs 4,000, and 3TB of 4G data.
Vivo Y17 specifications and features
The Vivo Y17 sports a 6.35-inch HD+ (720 × 1,544 pixels) Halo FullView display with an aspect ratio of 19.3:9. It also sports a waterdrop notch style display. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. It runs Android 9 Pie skinned with Funtouch OS 9. There is 128GB of internal storage onboard in this smartphone and it packs a 5,000mAh battery with Dual Engine fast charging support.
On the camera front, the Vivo Y17 comes with a triple-rear camera setup, which comprises of a 13MP primary camera through an f/2.2 aperture paired with an 8MP Wide Angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture. Also a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture is available. While on the front, the Vivo Y17 sports a 20MP selfie camera with an aperture size of f/2.0The camera features of the this mobile includes portrait mode, palm capture and AI face beauty.
The connectivity options include 4G, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi (2.4+5.0 GHz), GPS, FM radio, and a Micro-USB 2.0 port.
