Vivo Y51A has officially made its debut in India. The Chinese smartphone company has launched the phone under the mid-range segment that includes a triple rear camera set up that offers a 48-megapixel primary sensor. Moreover, there is a 5,000mAh battery onboard with 18W fast charging. The newly launched smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 662 SoC.
Vivo Y51A price and availability
Vivo Y51A has been introduced in India in a single configuration of 8GB RAM with 128GB storage priced at Rs 17,990. The smartphone will be offered in two colour options of Titanium Sapphire and Crystal Symphony. The device can now be purchased via Vivo India E-store, Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm, Tatacliq, and across all partner retail stores.
Launch offers include a cashback of Rs 1,000 to HDFC Bank customers. In addition to other benefits to Vi subscribers along with zero down payment schemes from Bajaj Finserv, Home Credit, IDFC First Bank, HDB Credit, and ICICI Bank.
Vivo Y51A tech specifications
Vivo Y51A features a 6.58-inch full-HD+ LCD display having 1,080×2,408 pixels of resolution. The device runs Funtouch OS 11 on top of Android 11, Under the hood, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC paired with 8GB RAM with 128GB storage that can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card.
Speaking of the camera capabilities, Vivo Y51A comes with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 aperture. In addition to this, there is an ultra-wide-angle lens that includes an f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel tertiary lens with f/2.4. The rear camera also offers Ultra-Stable video with Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) technology along with Super Night Camera capabilities for both front and rear. Moreover, there are other modes like Ultra Stable video, Super Night mode and Macro mode. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The device boasts a long-lasting battery of 5000mAh with 18W Fast Charge support and Reverse Charging feature. The smartphone also includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometrics. For connectivity, there is dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, GPS among others.
