Xiaomi becomes the most loved Smart TV brand in Q3 2019

The company retains its number one position for the six-consecutive quarter

The Chinese electronics brand Xiaomi today announced that it continues to be the number one smart TV brand in the third quarter of 2019 as per IDC’s latest Worldwide Quarterly Smart Home Device Tracker. According to the company Xiaomi shares 33 percent of the total market share for six consecutive quarters.

Xaomi said that MiTV has received 46 percent of Quarter-on-Quarter growth and 69 percent of Year-on-Year growth. As per IDC MiTV, market share is 19 percent greater than Samsung India whereas it shares a 20 percent greater market share than LG, with 20 percent more market share than Sony and 24 percent superior market share than TCL.

We focus on consistent experience across our entire MiTV lineup by making sure that all our TVs are upgraded with the same PatchWall experience. Additionally, all our TVs are customised for the Indian consumer with features like Data Saver, Vivid Picture Engine, linear TV integration and more. He further added, “Along with bringing high-quality smart TVs, we continue to focus on manufacturing in India. Our offline expansion has also played a big role in sustaining our leadership. We are thankful to all our Mi Fans who have been our constant support in the MiTV journey, and helped us make it better each day.”

With a market share of 33 percent, Xiaomi achieved the number one position in the smartphone industry. Samsung comes second with 14 percent of market share followed by LG with 13 percent, Sony with 10 percent and TCL with 9 percent market share.
