Xiaomi RedmiBook 13, RedmiBook 14 and RedmiBook 16 with AMD Ryzen 4000 series processors launched

All the three models are scheduled to go on sale from June 1

The Chinese electronics company Xiaomi has rolled out its new series of RedmiBook laptops in the market. The company has launched three latest models that include RedmiBook 13, RedmiBook 14, and RedmiBook 16 in China. All the models come equipped with AMD Ryzen 4000 series processors that will be offered in multiple configurations. The RedmiBook models are lightweight notebooks that are thinner in size.

The RedmiBook 13 will be available in three options powered by AMD Ryzen 5 4500U CPU. The 8GB RAM with 512GB SSD option is priced at CNY 3,799 (approx Rs. 40,200), 16GB RAM with 512GB SSD model at CNY 3,999 (approx Rs. 42,300) whereas the one with AMD Ryzen 7 4700U CPU with  16GB RAM with 1TB SSD has been introduced with a price tag of CNY 4,999 (approx Rs. 53,000). All the models will be offered in a single Silver colour option.

The RedmiBook 14 and 16 will be offered in the same configuration. Instead of 1TB SSD variant, all the models will be available in 512GB SSD options. Both the model 14 as well as 16 with Ryzen 5 and 8GB RAM with 512GB SSD is priced at CYN 3,799, Ryzen 5 and 16GB RAM with 512GB SSD will be available at CYN 3,999 and the one with Ryzen 7  16GB RAM with 512GB SSD can be purchased at CYN 4,499. Both the RedmiBook 14 and 16 laptops will be available in silver and grey colour option respectively.

All the Redmi laptops are scheduled to go on sale starting June 1. An early sale is currently being hosted and run until May 31.

As the name suggests the new lineup of RedmiBooks features  13-inch, 14-inch, and 16-inch displays with slim bezels. They come with the same design and  AMD’s newest  7nm Ryzen 4000 series mobile processors. The laptops will be offered in budget-friendly Ryzen 5 4500U processors and expensive Ryzen 7 4700U processors. The processor comes integrated with GPU, Vega 7 top models and Vega 6 for the mid-range ones. In terms of form factors, all the RedmiBook models feature a metallic finish and display with full-HD displays with 60Hz refresh rate, 90.6 percent screen to body ratio and 100 percent sRGB wide colour gamut. The bezels around the display panel are also slim at 3.26mm. The RedmiBook 13 and 14 boasts a  40Wh battery whereas RedmiBook 16 has a larger 46Wh battery. All the models sport two 2W speakers with DTS audio processing and come pre-installed with Windows 10 Home Chinese Edition. In terms of connectivity, there are two USB Type-C ports, a USB Type-A port, an HDMI port, a 3.5mm audio jack, dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth v5.0.
