The 2026 Bespoke AI Laundry Combo has significant enhancements to improve efficiency and performance. A Super Speed cycle with a high-pressure Speed Spray improves detergent penetration and rinsing, resulting in quicker wash-to-dry cycles. The new booster heat exchanger enhances drying capabilities, while the Auto Open Door+ feature automatically opens the door and enables air circulation to minimise musty odours following wash-only cycles. The AI Wash & Dry+ system uses several sensors to optimise performance, adjusting water and detergent depending on load weight, identifying fabric types, and monitoring dirt levels in real time. Furthermore, the new Wide Lint Filter features a one-touch design for easy cleaning and a dual-layer design for optimum lint gathering. Amazon Pay has added UPI Biometric Authentication, which allows customers to authenticate payments using their fingerprints or face recognition, eliminating the need for a human UPI PIN on some transactions. This functionality enables seamless integration across many payment functions, including Send Money, Scan & Pay, and Merchant Payment. It also lowers the possibility of unauthorised tracking.

Amazon Pay will now support UPI payments and money transfers in India with biometric identification, dropping the requirement for users to provide their UPI PIN. This innovation, which uses fingerprint and face recognition, is intended to increase security by prohibiting unauthorised transactions if a user’s UPI PIN is compromised. Users may now authenticate UPI payments whether sending money to others, making purchases in shops, checking account balances, or purchasing things on Amazon’s e-commerce site.

At this point, Amazon Pay has only introduced this capability for Android smartphones, with no word on whether it will be available for iOS users.

The Ask Copilot tool makes AI more accessible to users who don’t want to launch another app to get the answers to their queries. Its integration into the context menu lets users access it with a single right-click. As of now, this option is available only for images, documents, and text files.

When you click on ‘Ask Copilot’, the file opens up in the Copilot app. You can add your query in the text box before hitting Enter and uploading the file. Yes, using this option requires uploading the file to Microsoft’s servers, as Copilot does not run locally on your device. It requires cloud servers for computational tasks.

The launch event called Rise as One will be livestreamed on the OnePlus India YouTube channel and several social media channels, allowing community members and tech enthusiasts to catch the event.

Pricing (Expected)

In a recent post on X, Paras Guglani revealed the expected pricing and storage variants for the forthcoming OnePlus 15R, citing an inside source. The smartphone is rumoured to have two storage options: 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB. The 512GB option is expected to be priced at Rs 52,000, while the 256GB model might cost between Rs 47,000 and Rs 49,000. Discounts of Rs 3,000 to Rs 4,000 may be available with select bank cards. This cost is a significant hike over the OnePlus 13R, which was released at Rs 42,999 for the 256GB device and Rs 49,999 for the 512GB edition.

It will be available in charcoal black, mint green, and electric violet colours through Amazon and the OnePlus India webshop.

Key specs and features (expected)

The OnePlus 15R will have a high-quality 1.5K AMOLED display, just like its flagship, the OnePlus 15. This display has a remarkable 165 Hz refresh rate, which improves the smoothness of on-screen graphics. The screen’s pixel density is tuned to 450 pixels per inch (PPI), resulting in outstanding visual clarity. Notably, the peak brightness reaches an impressive 1,800 nits, indicating excellent vision even in strongly bright environments. The display’s performance is further enhanced by a broad brightness range spanning from a low of 2 nits to a high peak of 1,800 nits, guaranteeing versatility across a variety of lighting settings.

OnePlus 15R camera and display details revealed ahead of India launch

On the performance front, the OnePlus 15R will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen5 SoC, making it the first smartphone to use this new chipset that has been co-optimized with Qualcomm. The smartphone will also include the newest G2 Wi-Fi chip and a touch response chip, which will improve both connectivity and user experience.

The OnePlus 15R is said to include the most sophisticated selfie camera in the R Series, with a 32-megapixel sensor with focusing features to improve quality. It will also be the first in the R Series to allow 4K video recording at 30 fps for the front camera, an important improvement over the OnePlus 13R, which has a 16-megapixel selfie camera that can only record in 1080p.
