What is the time limit for Instagram Reels?
Initially, Reels lasted up to 60 seconds. But with later updates, Instagram changed the time limit to 90 seconds. Meanwhile, TikTok now lets you make videos up to 10 minutes in duration.
How to increase the time limit for Instagram Reels
Step 1: Open the Instagram app on your phone.
Step 2: Tap on the Reels icon at the bottom of your screen.
Step 3: Tap on the camera icon at the top right corner of your screen to create a Reel.
Step 4: Tap on the timer at the left side of your screen.
Step 5: Select the duration you want for your video. Instagram allows Reels to be 15, 30, 60, or 90 seconds long.
Once you’ve set the duration, you can begin creating your Reel.
