The device is scheduled to go on sale this week in the country. The device runs on Android 16-based One UI 8.5 with up to six years of OS and security fixes. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 CPU. Additionally, the handset packs a 5,000mAh battery and features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED with a refresh rate of 120Hz.

Samsung Galaxy A27 5G Price in India, Availability
The Samsung Galaxy A27 5G is set to be available in three different configurations. The price of the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage model is set at Rs 28,999. The 8GB RAM with 128GB and 256GB storage options will be available with a price tag of Rs 31,999 and Rs 37,499.
If you are planning to purchase this device, then the sale is scheduled for July 3. It is going to be offered in three colour options – Light Green, Light Pink and Black.
The launch offer includes a cashback of Rs 3,000 on all the models on bank/UPI transactions. Buyers also have the option to go for a zero down payment through select non-banking financial companies for up to 15 months. The company is also offering a 24-month EMI option, requiring an 8-month down payment with select non-banking financial companies.
Samsung Galaxy A27 5G specifications
The Samsung Galaxy A27 5G measures 162.4 x 78.2 x 7.8mm and weighs 200 grams. It features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with 1,080 x 2,340 pixels of resolution. The panel offers 16 million colours and up to 800 nits peak brightness. The phone’s display supports a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and is protected with Corning Gorilla Victus+. It has an IP64 water and dust resistance as well.
The new Samsung phone is powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 CPU with up to 8GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. The smartphone operates on Android 16 with One UI 8.5 and has been installed with Samsung Knox Vault for further protection. The A27 5G comes with six generations of Android OS and One UI upgrades and up to six years of security updates for longer use.

AI features include Circle to Search, virtual try-on, object eraser, and voice transcription in the Voice Recorder app, which now supports 22 languages for transcription. It also supports multiple AI assistants, including Google Gemini and Perplexity, as well as improved interaction with native Galaxy applications such as Gallery. It also supports Bixby, which allows users to manage device settings using natural language.
For the photos and videos the device has a 5MP ultra-wide camera, a 50MP wide camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 2MP macro camera and a 12MP front-facing camera for selfies.
The Galaxy A27 5G is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery with 25W wired fast charging support.
