Samsung Galaxy M56 5G has officially made its debut in the Indian market today. The mid-range phone is powered by an octa-core processor and features a 120Hz sAMOLED+ display. In addition to this, the device comes with a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup which supports optical image stabilisation (OIS). The handset packs a 5,000mAh battery, which has 45w wired charging support.

Samsung Galaxy M56 5G will be available in India in a single 8GB RAM with 128GB storage variant priced at Rs 27,999. The device is scheduled to go on sale on April 23 via the Samsung India website and Amazon at noon. The phone is offered in Black and Light Green colour options.

The Galaxy M56 5G has a 6.73-inch full-HD+ sAMOLED+ display with 1,080×2,340 pixels of resolution. The panel support a refresh rate of 120Hz with Vision Booster. It features Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. At its heart, there is an unnamed octa-core CPU with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device runs on One UI 7 on top of Android 15 out of the box. In terms of software support, the company is promising six years of major OS upgrades and six years of security patches.

For photos and videos, Galaxy M56 5G has three rear cameras: a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The phone boasts a 12-megapixel front-facing camera with HDR video capabilities.

The Galaxy M56 5G is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and supports 45w wired charging. It has 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port for connectivity.
