Samsung is expected to increase the pricing of its Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 smartphones in India by up to Rs 6,000. The Galaxy A57 12GB model is likely to be priced at Rs 72,499. The price change is mostly due to growing memory and component prices, impacting many RAM and storage configurations for both models. As of yet, Samsung has not made any formal statements for these planned pricing increases.
A tipster has revealed that Samsung has apparently increased the cost of its Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 models in India. The price of the Galaxy A57 might go up by Rs 5,000, while the price of the Galaxy A37 could climb up to Rs 6,000. Note that the changes are not yet visible on Samsung’s official website.
The Galaxy A57 8GB RAM with 256GB storage model has been priced at Rs 62,999, up from Rs 59,999, while the 12GB RAM with 256GB storage variant now costs Rs 72,499, up from Rs 67,499. The Galaxy A37 also sees similar price rises. The 8GB + 128GB version now costs Rs 46,999, up from Rs 43,999; the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage model has gone up from Rs 50,499 to Rs 54,499; and the 12GB RAM with 256GB storage option will see a spike from Rs 57,999 to Rs 63,999.
Those pricing changes are likely due to increased prices of memory and components that are impacting the smartphone industry as a whole.
Samsung Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 Specifications
Both models provide a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with up to a 120 Hz refresh rate and Vision Booster technology. The camera specifications are similar configurations in both variants. The Galaxy A57 has a 12MP ultra-wide camera (f2.2), a 50MP wide camera (f1.8), a 5MP macro camera (f2.4) and a 12MP front camera (f2.2). The Galaxy A37 has an 8MP ultra-wide camera (f2.2) and the same 50MP wide camera, 5MP macro camera and 12MP front camera.
The A57 comes in two configurations: 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, or 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The A37 comes with 8GB of RAM and is offered in 128GB or 256GB of storage. Also in the line-up is 12GB RAM with 256GB storage.

They’re running Android 16 with One UI 8.5, providing customers with a contemporary experience. The Voice Recorder app introduces new voice transcription features for speedy transcription and translation and AI Select for content creation and extracting text. AI Select offers drag & drop in multi-window mode for seamless image transfer, while Awesome Intelligence provides tools such as Object Eraser and Best Face for improved photo editing. There’s also auto-trim for films and filters and editing recommendations for photos to help users. The Circle to Search tool enables multi-object recognition in photographs. AI agents like the enhanced Bixby and Gemini also aid in task management and application navigation effectively. The corporation has pledged up to six generations of operating system upgrades and long-term security support.

Both variants contain a 5,000mAh battery, although the A57’s battery life may vary based on your network situation and use habits. Good thing both devices come with Samsung Knox for further protection. They also come with an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, meaning they are manufactured properly and can withstand different environmental situations.
