The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra has officially made its debut globally. The new flagship smartphone comes with two further models: the S26 and the S26+. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip powers the new Ultra, which runs One UI 8.5. The gadget has a 200MP primary camera and a 120Hz AMOLED display. The phone’s best feature is the Privacy Display, which hides the screen from side viewers.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra has a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with an adjustable refresh rate that can go from 1 to 120 Hz and a peak brightness of 2600 to 3000 nits, which makes for vivid images and smooth animations. Brief provides personalised reminders and playlists based on the user’s context. The Circle to Search tool has enhanced multi-object detection, making it easier to explore images and identify objects. The series includes various assistants, including Bixby, Gemini, and Perplexity, that enable single-button or voice-activated task completion. Bixby has been optimised for more conversational interactions, and it can handle multitasking in the background.

In terms of availability, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will be accessible in three different configurations, with prices starting at:

The phone will come in Cobalt Violet, White, Black and Sky Blue colour options alongside the online-exclusive Pink Gold and Silver Shadow. It will be available for pre-order starting February 25.
