Nothing Phone 3 to feature a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera
The Nothing Phone 3 is scheduled to be released on July 1. Just before the official release, Nothing revealed the latest teaser, which hints at the rear camera unit. It will include a triple rear camera array with a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. Before this, the company said that the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 CPU will power the phone and will receive five years of Android OS updates.
According to the latest teaser posted by Nothing on x.com, the upcoming Nothing Phone 3 will include a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. This is a major improvement over the Phone 2’s dual-camera configuration, and it equals the Nothing Phone 3a Pro’s camera equipment, which includes a 50-megapixel main and periscope lens, as well as an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens.
Aside from that, the Phone 3 will have a triple rear camera arrangement consisting of a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide shooter with 3x optical zoom capability.

Recently, a video teaser was revealed featuring a new LED element on the rear panel that will replace the Glyph Interface. It will replace the Nothing Phone 2 and Phone 1 devices with a “Glyph Matrix” interface on the back. Instead of the Glyph LED interface, the new LED interface is a dot-matrix panel that occupies space in the upper right corner of the rear panel.
Besides this, the Nothing Phone 3 is said to come with five years of Android OS upgrades and seven years of security fixes. The phone is confirmed to be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC. The new chipset is anticipated to increase CPU performance by 36%. Additionally, there will be an 88% and 60% improvement in GPU and NPU performance, respectively.
Nothing Phone 3 will have a bigger 5,000 mAh battery, and a 6.77-inch AMOLED display are all speculated features of the Nothing Phone 3.
According to leaks, the Phone 3 will be sold on Flipkart in India and can come in two different versions: 12GB RAM with 256GB storage and 16GB RAM with 512GB storage. The prices of these models are likely to be $799 (Rs 69,188.21) and $899 (Rs 77,847.56), respectively.

This feature blocks messages from being viewed by Meta and by others in the chat by using Private Processing technology. Additionally, users can use Advanced Chat Privacy to identify particular texts that require summarisation. The feature, which is by default disabled, is accessible in both individual and group chats. Meta AI creates it in a list view with bullets when you tap the Unread messages icon.
“We’ve all been there – rushing between meetings, catching up after a flight without Wi-Fi, or simply having too many chats to catch up on. Sometimes, you just need to catch up on your messages quickly. Meta has created a new technology called Private Processing that allows people to use AI in a way that protects their privacy. Users can instruct AI to handle their requests in a safe cloud environment thanks to the confidential computing architecture, which is based on a Trusted Execution Environment (TEE). This maintains WhatsApp’s fundamental privacy promise, which states that no one can view or share private conversations, while enabling users to take advantage of AI features. Fundamental criteria for private processing include verifiable transparency, enforceable guarantees, and secrecy. While in processing or transit, it must stop other systems—like Meta or WhatsApp—from accessing user data. The system must fail closed or become publicly discoverable through verified transparency if the confidentiality processing assurance is changed.How Private Processing Works?
A secure cloud environment called private processing enables AI models to process and analyse data without exposing it to unauthorised parties. In order to verify future requests from legitimate WhatsApp clients, it gathers anonymous credentials, retrieves HPKE encryption public keys from a third-party CDN, connects the user’s device to a Meta gateway via an OHTTP connection through a third-party relay, and creates a Remote Attestation + Transport Layer Security (RA-TLS) session between the user’s device and the TEE. To make sure the client connects to code that meets the verified transparency requirement, the attestation verification phase compares measurements to a third-party ledger. Without keeping any messages, Private Processing processes data in a confidential virtual machine (CVM) and returns the processed data to the user’s device, encrypted with a key that is only accessible by the device and the Private Processing server of the user’s preference. Besides this, last month WhatsApp added new functionalities to its Status feature, allowing users to include collages, music, and stickers, similar to Facebook and Instagram’s Stories. Layout allows users to make collages of up to six photos, whilst Music lets them post a favourite song as a status or turn it into a music sticker. Apple unveiled the new iOS 26 at WWDC 25 earlier this month, releasing the first Developer Beta version of the OS on the same day. Interestingly, Apple kicked off the event with a promotion for F1. Samsung will be announcing the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, Galaxy Buds Core, and Galaxy Watch 8 series globally on July 9, with pre-orders available through the official e-store, as well as early deliveries.
Samsung will hold its Galaxy Unpacked event on July 9, presenting an array of products such as foldable smartphones, TWS earbuds, and smartwatches. Pre-reservations are now available in India, with buyers eligible for early delivery and other incentives. The event is expected to reveal the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, and Buds Core series.
According to the company, customers in India can pre-reserve the devices for Rs 2,000, which will grant them benefits worth up to Rs 5,999 on purchase and early delivery. Pre-reservation can be done through Samsung.com, Samsung Exclusive Stores, Amazon.in, Flipkart.com, and leading retail outlets across India.

The Galaxy Unpacked Event will begin at 10 a.m. ET, 3 p.m. BST, and 4 p.m. CET (7:30 p.m. IST) and will be live streamed on Samsung.com, Samsung Newsroom India, and Samsung India’s YouTube, as well as in person.
Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 are expected to have storage capacities of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB.
According to reports, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 will cost EUR 2,227.71 (about Rs 2,23,000) in Italy for the 256GB model and EUR 2,309.03 (about Rs 2,31,100) for the 512GB model.
Whereas, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 with 512GB of storage will probably cost EUR 1,425.51 (around Rs 1,43,000).
The Z Fold 7 is slated to be available in Blue Shadow, Jet Black, and Silver Shadow colours, while the Flip 7 will be available in Blue Shadow, Coral Red, and Jet Black.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 could feature a slimmer profile, ranging from 3.9 mm to 4.5 mm, than the Galaxy Z Fold 6, which could reduce overall weight for better ergonomics.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is said to be a slimmer, lighter version of the Galaxy Z Flip 6, with a larger edge-to-edge cover display and a 3.4-inch manila folder-style outer screen. It will run on an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor, with a main core clocked at 4.47 GHz. Rumours say that an Exynos 2500 SoC may be used. The phone may keep the 4,000 mAh battery from its predecessor. The dual camera system will have a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens.
