Vivo V80
Vivo’s midrange V series will be refreshed with a new model this month. The V80 flaunts an iPhone-style camera plateau with a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700V primary sensor, a 50MP Sony IMX882 telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and an ultrawide lens. The 50MP selfie camera has a wide angle for group shots. All four cameras on this phone have been co-developed with Zeiss. The 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display has a 144Hz refresh rate and can reach a peak brightness of 5,000 nits. The 7,200mAh battery supports 90W charging. The V80 will be the first Vivo phone in India to run the Android 17-based OriginOS 7 out of the box.

Vivo S2 FE
The Vivo S2 (our review here) landed in India in August. Its FE model will be launched alongside the Vivo V80. The ‘Fan Edition’ offering will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e chipset. It will run the Android 16-based OriginOS 6 out of the box. Display duties will be handled by a 6.83-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 2,000 nits. Vivo says that the smartphone is compliant with MIL-STD-810H durability standards. The rear camera panel has a 50MP primary shooter and an ultrawide lens. The massive 10,000mAh battery pack supports 44W wired charging.

Oppo F35 Series
Oppo has dropped a teaser for its midrange F35 series and confirmed the launch date. The brand hasn’t revealed the lineup order, but we expect it to come with a base and a Pro model. The top-spec F35 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset. It will flaunt a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The rear camera array will comprise a 50MP primary shooter and an auxiliary lens. The massive 10,000mAh battery under the hood of this smartphone will support 80W wired charging.

iQOO 16
iQOO 16 will be one of the first Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6-powered Android flagships to go live in India. iQOO has confirmed that the smartphone will rock a new 50MP 1/1.13” main sensor. This camera will be joined by a 50MP Sony Super Periscope Telephoto lens and a 50MP ultrawide lens. The upgraded primary shooter will enable CIPA 5.5 image stabilisation and support 4K resolution for live pictures. In China, iQOO will launch the Pad Ultra alongside its flagship phone. It remains to be seen whether the tablet will make its way to India.

Xiaomi 18 Series
Xiaomi’s new flagship series made waves globally after its China debut last week. It is expected to launch in India in October. The top-spec Xiaomi 18 Pro Max has a beautiful 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 4,000 nits. The 2.9-inch secondary AMOLED display next to the camera array has the same refresh rate and brightness. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset. It flaunts a 200MP primary shooter, another 200MP sensor for the 3.2x periscope telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultrawide lens. The smartphone can record 8K videos at 30fps. The 8,500mAh battery pack supports 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

Oppo Find X10 Series
Oppo’s flagship Find X10 series will also step inside the ring in October 2026. The X10 lineup will comprise a base and a Pro Max model. The S and Ultra models will arrive later. The Pro variant will remain limited to China. The top-spec Find X10 Pro Max has a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3,600 nits. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset. The stunning rear camera array comprises three 200MP sensors, one each for the primary shooter, ultrawide lens, and 3x periscope telephoto lens. The 8,000mAh battery supports 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.

Motorola Edge 70 Neo
Motorola’s highly popular Edge 70 series is about to get a new variant. The Edge 70 Neo will be powered by the respectable Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. Its 6.4-inch 1.5K OLED display will have a 120Hz refresh rate. There will be three 50MP sensors on the camera island, one each for the primary shooter, ultrawide lens, and 3x telephoto lens. Selfie duties will also be handled by a 50MP front-facing camera. The 5,000mAh battery pack will support 68W wired charging.
