Which mobile operator has the cheapest data plans?
BSNL, being a Public Sector Undertaking (PSU), offers the most economical data and mobile internet plans out of all the major network providers in India. Its data packs undercut the prices of corresponding plans offered by Jio, Airtel, and Vi, by a wide margin. However, there is a catch to the attractive prices. BSNL does not offer its services in every region in the country. Most famously, it is absent from Delhi altogether. BSNL users travelling to Delhi rely on Vi’s network infrastructure for roaming services.
Out of the three major network providers (Jio, Airtel, and Vi), the prices offered by Jio and Airtel are pretty evenly matched. Vi slightly undercuts the two biggest mobile network operators, but it trails behind in add-ons.
