Microsoft upgrades its new keyboards, come with dedicated Emoji and Office 365 keys

Emoji’s are the new way of expressing oneself on the digital platform. Most of us use it on popular messaging platforms such as WhatsApp and Messenger. While most use them on the mobile platform, however, there are many who use them on the web version of WhatsApp or Messenger to talk to friends, family or office colleagues. Now, Microsoft has introduced 2 new keyboards internationally, which have a dedicated key for Emoji’s.

At the moment one can access the Emoji menu by pressing Win key + ;. This pops open the emoji menu as well as Kaomojis system from which the users can choose from a list of emoji’s. However, with the introduction of a dedicated button for the same, the company says it will cut down the time taken to access and put an emoji by half. This is a good move if you ask as, as many use Emojis in informal documents and E-mails as well.

Over that, Microsoft keyboards will also come with a dedicated button for Office 365 as well. This again will enable the users to quickly access one of the most popular Office and spreadsheet software. When pressed the key, that also has the Office Logo on it, opens the Microsoft Office Program.

Both the keyboards are wireless and work on Bluetooth platform. They do look a bit similar to the previous versions of the keyboards, however, besides being ergonomically correct the biggest upgrade to them are these dedicated keys. They have been priced at USD 59.99 (roughly Rs 4,850) and USD 49.99 (roughly Rs 3,550). The international availability starts from October 2019. But there is no clear word on its India sales. If they come to India, these might come after Diwali to the country.
