After over six impactful years with the company, Murali is set to delve into an Executive Doctorate in Management, focusing on consumer behavior on technology platforms.

Murali joined Xiaomi India in 2018 and quickly became a key player in the company’s rapid ascent in the Indian market. Serving in various roles—including Chief Operating Officer before his promotion to President in 2022—he was instrumental in enhancing Xiaomi India’s brand presence and strategic direction. His leadership helped steer critical public affairs efforts and connected millions to innovative products.

Industry veteran Sudhin Mathur, with over 30 years of experience, will continue to guide key functions as Chief Operating Officer.
