This ad-free experience will also apply to YouTube Music and YouTube kids. On top of that, you can even play videos in the background, while the YouTube app is minimised or when your smartphone’s screen is locked. Student Plan
YouTube has a special discounted plan for students at Rs 79 per month. All you need to do is provide your student ID and you will be able to access YouTube Premium at a heavily discounted fee. With the student plan, YouTube will ask for verification every year.
