As far as Lightning to USB adapters go, Rs 2,900 is quite overpriced. You can find decent OTG adapters on Amazon for as low as Rs 624.

Once you attach the Lightning to USB adapter to your iPhone or iPad, you can plug in any external storage device to the USB port and access its contents directly on your Apple device. You can view the contents on any supported app on your phone, like Photos and Files. If the external hard drive requires a higher power to function, use a Lightning to USB 3 Camera adapter that can be powered with an external charger. This will make your task considerably easier. Typically, pen drives don’t require additional power and can easily work with a simple Lightning to USB adapter.
