Turn on Live Caption from the quick settings panel
Step 1: Swipe down from the right side of the status bar to reveal the quick settings panel.
Step 2: Locate the tile for Live Caption. If you don’t find it, here’s how you can add it to the panel.
Step 3: Tap on the edit icon at the top right corner of the quick settings panel.
Step 4: Tap on the green plus icon on the Live Caption tile.
Step 5: Tap on ‘Done’.
Step 6: Swipe down from the status bar again and tap on Live Caption to enable it.
Turn on Live Caption from system settings
Step 1: Go to Settings and select Additional Settings.
Step 2: Tap on Accessibility and switch to the ‘Hearing’ tab.
Step 3: Select ‘Live Caption’ and enable the toggle bar for ‘Use Live Caption’.
Turn on Live Caption on Chrome
Step 1: Launch the Google Chrome app on your Xiaomi or Redmi smartphone.
Step 2: Tap on the ellipses (three dots) at the top right corner of the screen.
