While Twitter is known for its short text posts with a 280-character limit, the GIF responses to the posts are one of the reasons why the social media platform is so fun and appealing. Reaction GIFs are looped videos, not longer than 5-10 seconds, that are a quick and accurate way of responding to a tweet.
GIFs are abundantly popular on Twitter, particularly due to their versatile nature and the ability to be ‘meme’d’ in different situations. Since any piece of visual media can be looped and converted into a GIF, the popular GIF responses are ever-changing. Once you see an interesting GIF on Twitter, you will want to use it outside of the platform.
Unfortunately, Twitter does not have a native function to save GIFs on its platform. Downloading a gif from Twitter is a two-step process, where you’ll need to download the GIF as a video on your device at first. In this article, we show you how to download any GIF or video from Twitter.
