How To Find The ID Of Any Facebook Page Or User Profile (2022)?

Unlike LinkedIn, Facebook does not display the ID of any page or a profile to the viewers. In LinkedIn, you are able to see the ID of any page or a user profile directly in the browser’s search box. So, you can easily locate the profile or page that you’re looking for if you possess its unique ID. But the same task is not so straightforward on Facebook. There have been several ways mentioned over the web for finding Facebook IDs of pages or user profiles. But some of these have already become outdated over time. Find The ID Of A Facebook Page

In Facebook, it is only possible to find the Page ID of a page that you have created or are a part of. You can find the ID of your page by following the steps given below.

Step 1: Log in to your Facebook account from your PC and go to your page. 

Step 2: Click on the More menu on top and then click on About.

Step 3: Scroll down to the bottom of the window to find the Page ID of your page mentioned below the More Info section. That’s it!

Find The ID Of A Facebook User Profile

Step 1: Log in to your Facebook account from your PC and search for the user profile whose ID you want to find. You can try it with your own profile as well. 

Step 2: Right-click anywhere on the grey area in the profile.

Step 3: Click on View page source from the drop-down that appears or press Ctrl+U shortcut keys.

Step 4: In the Page source window that appears next, press Ctrl+F to open the Find search box. 

Step 5: Type “ profile_id ” in the box and press Enter. The 15-digit number that is mentioned next to the profile_id highlighted on the screen is the ID of that Facebook user profile.

You can verify the ID by directly typing the 15-digit number after the forward slash in “ www.facebook.com/……………” in your browser search box and pressing Enter. You should be directed to the same profile through your web browser.
