How to Use Face Filters on Google Meet Video Call

Join your next Google Meet video call as Rudolph or Mrs Whiskers or a cute cactus and keep the spirits of your conference guests high.

Changing your background in a Google Meet video call is a fact that most Google Meet users would already know by now. But what you may not know is that Google Meet now offers its users the option to put face filters as well for attending video conferences on its platform. You can put on a cat or a dog’s head, appear in a pirate’s avatar or swim like a cute little blue fish, and keep the environment of your video call cheerful and lively. However, this option to put face filters is available only on the Google Meet app in Android and iOS devices, and not through a web browser. And it is a matter of just a few clicks. Below are mentioned the steps depicted pictorially on how to use face filters on a Google Meet video call via your Android or iOS device.

Step 1: Open the Google Meet app on your Android or iOS smartphone and join the link to attend the meeting. Next, click on the Apply Visual Effects icon as highlighted below.
