Many times, we came across so many incidents where many customers have complained of mistakenly being delivered with wrong products or of cheating related to other purchases or with regard to payment on e-commerce websites in India. But this time something unexpected happened, a person ordered a lotion from Amazon and received Bose earphones worth Rs 19,000.

This incident happened in Pune, Maharashtra where a man ordered a body lotion worth Rs 300 via e-commerce website Amazon. Instead of receiving the lotion, he was delivered Bose SoundSport Free wireless earbuds that retail in India around Rs 19,000. The man who orders the lotion is Pune-based Gautam Rege who duly informed the e-retailer and shared what he got delivered on Twitter. But instead of getting this returned the company asked him to keep the wrongly delivered order or the earphones as the shipment was non-returnable.

Interestingly he also shares in his tweets that the company has also given him a refund of Rs 300 for not delivering the lotion. Soon after this, his series of tweets became viral and other users also shared similar experiences on the microblogging site. One of the users revealed that sometime back he ordered an after-shave lotion worth Rs 180 on Amazon but surprisingly he got a wrong shipment and he received a Lenovo Tab 4. In another Tweet, Kalyan Gandhapu shared that he ordered a Dell Monitor worth Rs 13,000 and instead of that he received Colin bottles, garbage, etc. To set the things right when he informed this to Amazon, they say the order is non-refundable.

This is not the first time we came across such an incident. Last year a Bangalore based engineer delivered a fake Apple iPhone 11 Pro model. The images, as well as videos of the fake phone, have also gone viral on the web. The phone looked like an iPhone but had different internals and it runs on Android instead of iOS.
