A few months ago the Chinese smartphone company introduced the Redmi Note 9 series in India. At that time it ended up launching only two devices Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max. But now the company has shared a launch event for its regular Redmi Note 9 smartphone. And before it could land in the market the official renders of the smartphone started floating everywhere.
Prior to its official launch, Redmi Note 9 press renders have been leaked on the web by a tipster named Sudhanshu Ambhore giving us a fair idea about its design aspects. Not only this the specifications of the Xiaomi’s upcoming smartphone have been revealed that matches up with previous leaks we came across.
The shared renders revealed that Redmi Note 9 will be available in three colour variants with gradient finish Green, Blue and White. On the front, there is a hole punch on the top left corner of the screen. The device is expected to feature a 6.53-inch FHD+ LCD display with 2340 x 1080 pixels of resolution. The device will be powered by MediaTek Helio G85 chipset paired with 3GB and 4GB of RAM options along with 64GB and 128GB of internal storage options.
Just like its other elder siblings, the device will be featuring a quad rear camera setup combining a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.79 aperture, a secondary 8MP ultrawide angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro lens with f/2.4 aperture and lastly a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Instead of a whole glass body, the company chose to go with a plastic rear panel and a fingerprint sensor on the back to unlock the device. The smartphone comes with a dedicated slot for a microSD card to expand the memory. For connectivity, there will be USB Type-C port, 3.5mm jack. IR blaster, NFC and dual sim support.
