India’s e-commerce website Amazon has announced the launch of its School From Home Store in the country. This initiative has been taken keeping in mind the well-being and safety of the kids. In order to protect them from coronavirus, the company has introduced the store exclusively for school-going kids so they do not need to step out of their homes to buy studies related material. The specially curated store offers a wide selection of products across Study and Writing essentials, Stationery, Laptops, Tablets & PCs, Headsets & Speakers, Printer and Home furnishing among others to help parents, teachers and students create a perfect learning zone at home.
School From Home store has been launched by Amazon and is now live across the country. Due to coronavirus lockdown in India, the school going kids have been forced to stay at home and this situation has turned their homes into a classroom. Amazon says that it has observed that Recent search trends on its platform show a surge in search for work & school from home products such as 1.7X increase in headphones & earphones, over 2X increase for laptops & tablets, nearly 1.2X increase for stationery, over 2X increase for mouse & keyboards, 1.3X increase for printer, over 3X increase for routers and 2.5X increase for study table.
The company further reveals that the School From Home store have been created on the basis of this insight. Moreover, the consumers will be able to avail a variety of offers and deals on essential items such as Textbooks and study guides, Stationary, Writing essentials, Laptops, Tablets & PCs, Keyboard & Mouse, Headsets & Speakers, Printer and Home furnishing like Cabinets, Bookshelves, Study lamps and so much more.

- As a part of School from the home store now Dell Inspiron 3583 15.6-inch FHD Laptop will be available at a discounted price of Rs 46,990. It comes with a 15.6-inch FHD screen and can deliver 6 hours of battery life. The laptop is powered by the 8th Gen Core i5 processor.
- Headphones are another important device which is very useful during online classes. Sony WI-C200 Wireless In-Ear Headphones comes with a great battery life up to 15 hours of playback along with a quick charge function. It will be available at Rs 1,599.
- One also needs a printer to print everything from documents, email and web pages to lab-quality photos. HP DeskJet 2138 All-in-One Ink Advantage Colour Printer can also scan and copy also is not only perfect for school projects but for home also. It can be bought at Rs 4,499.
- Whereas Logitech MK215 wireless keyboard and mouse combo are available at Rs 1,349 whereas Avekin Non-Magnetic Double-sided White Board and Chalk Board can be purchased at Rs 499 at the e-commerce website.
