The update will be accessible to eligible users in the coming days, and it will include modifications to the Apple TV app for third-party devices as well as the Screen Time function on iOS. Additionally, iPhone 13 users will get carrier-backed satellite connectivity, and the Screen Time function will be improved with iOS 18.5.

Unlike the iPhone 14 and later models, which have connection powered by Globalstar, Apple’s earlier iPhone 13 series devices now use carrier-based satellite connectivity. Starlink Direct (SpaceX) provides satellite connection to T-Mobile customers in the United States.
