Asus launched new Zenbook and Vivobooks laptops powered by 13th Gen Intel Core CPUs

The company has also introduced TUF Gaming F15 (FX506) and F17(FX706) laptops.

Taiwanese tech company Asus has announced its 2023 creator series. The lineup includes new laptops- Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED, Vivobook Pro 16 OLED (K6602) and Vivobook Pro 15 OLED (K6502), Vivobook 14X/14X OLED (K3405) and Vivobook 16X (K3605). All these laptops are powered by 13th gen Intel core processors. In addition to this, the company has also introduced TUF Gaming F15 (FX506) and F17(FX706) laptops.

Price and availability

The price of the Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED starts at Rs 199,990. The Vivobook Pro 15/16 OLED Lineup price in India begins at Rs 122,990, and the Vivobook 14X OLED lineup from Rs 79,990 onwards. Vivobook 14X will be available at Rs 72,990 onwards, Vivobook 16X at Rs 68,990. All these laptops can be purchased via online and offline platforms. On the other hand, the TUF Gaming lineup TUF F15 & F17 starts at Rs 62,990 onwards.

ASUS Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED (UX8402)

The new Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED now includes the new AAS Ultra mechanism, which opens the chassis to allow for significantly higher airflow and cooling while also raising the ScreenPad Plus secondary screen. It features a 14.5-inch 2.8K OLED display. The ScreenPad Plus, secondary screen is 12.7 inches. Both the secondary and the primary screen offers 120Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 colour and 500nits of peak brightness. Both the screens on the ASUS Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED also support stylus input with 4,096-level pressure sensitivity.

The laptop is powered by a 13th Gen Intel Core i9 CPU, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 graphics with 32GB memory.

ASUS Vivobook Pro 16 OLED 2023 (K6602)

As the name suggests the ASUS Vivobook Pro 16 OLED 2023 (K6602) comes with a 16-inch 3.2K OLED display with 3200 x 2000 pixels of resolution. It also offers 100% DCI-P3, Pantone-validated colours and a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1. The screen further supports VESA’s Display HDR TrueBlack 600 certification. Under the chassis, there is the latest 13th Gen i9-13900H (14 cores, up to 5.4GHz). It also includes NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 with 6GB GDDR6 RAM. Its 16GB DDR5 RAM (4800MHz) which is upgradable to 24GB and storage up to 1TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD (3500MB/s) comes with the addition of 2 PCIe Gen 4 x4 slots for expansion. The graphics have been further improved with a MUX Switch.

The laptop boasts a 96WHr battery with 150W AC fast-charging support. There is a fingerprint scanner with Windows Hello embedded into the power button and a 1080p Full HD 3DNR webcam with a physical privacy shutter. In terms of connectivity, there is Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5, Thunderbolt 4, USB 3.2 Gen 2 (Type-C, supports power and display out), USB 3.2 Gen 1, HDMI 2.1 TMDS, RJ45 ethernet, 3.5mm audio jack. It also includes a Micro SD card reader.

ASUS Vivobook Pro 15 OLED (K6502)

The ASUS Vivobook Pro 15 OLED (K6502) features a 15.6-inch display with a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, 0.2 ms response time, up to 600-nit peak brightness, and 0.0005 nits of deep black brightness. In addition to this, there is support for 100% DCI-P3 and HDR and is also certified VESA DisplayHDR 600 True Black and PANTONE Validated. There is a Precision Touchpad (PTP) technology that supports up to four-finger smart gestures.

The laptop is powered by up to Intel Core i9-13900H processors and 32 GB 4800 MHz DDR5 (1x SO-DIMM slot + onboard) and 2 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD with dual M.2 Slot. It houses a 70 WH battery. For connectivity there is WiFi 6E (802.11ax), plus Bluetooth 5.2, with ports ranging from Thunderboltâ„¢ 4, a full-function USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, a full-sized HDMI 2.1(TMDS only), SD card reader (UHS-II), 3.5 mm Audio combo jack and an RJ-45 gigabit lan port.

ASUS Vivobook 14X/14X OLED (K3405) and 16X (K3605) series

ASUS Vivobook 14X/14X OLED features a 14-inch (1920 x 1200) whereas ASUS Vivobook 16X comes with a 2.8K 16-inch OLED display with 2880×1800 pixels of resolution. Both offer a 16:10 aspect ratio and 0.2ms response time. The 14x has a 90 Hz refresh rate, 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, up to 600-nit peak brightness and 0.0005 nits of deep black brightness. Whereas the 16X includes a 120-Hz refresh rate. In addition to an ultrawide colour gamut of 100% DCI-P3 and HDR content support, the display is certified VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600 and PANTONE Validated.

ASUS Vivobook 14X/14X OLED (K3405) and 16X (K3605) series

Both the laptops come equipped with 13th Gen processors, with options up to a Core i9-13900H (6 P cores and 8 E cores, up to 5.4GHz) with 45W TDP & Up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 graphics with 4GB of GDDR6 VRAM. They include storage of up to 1 TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD. For connectivity, there is WiFi 6E (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.2 and an HD webcam with a physical shutter and 3DNR technology. The ASUS Vivobook 14X/14X OLED houses a 63WH battery whereas ASUS Vivobook 16X comes with a battery capacity of 50WH.

Lastly, the TUF Gaming F15 (FX506) and F17(FX706) series are powered by Intel Core i5-11400H CPU with a new GeForce RTX 2050 GPU. It features a 144Hz display and includes military-grade durability. It runs on Windows 11 Home edition and 48WH battery.
