The Taiwanese electronics brand Asus is bringing back gaming-centric Asus ROG Phone 2 on pre-orders. So, for those who missed the chance to own the handset now is the time as the smartphone that will be available on Flipkart from October 25 at 12 noon onwards.
Asus ROG Phone 2 is the first phone that has Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor and the fastest smartphone display with a 120Hz refresh rate for the best gaming experience. It also comes with front-facing stereo speakers with DTS-X Ultra, dual surrounding vibration technology as well as AirTrigger II ultrasonic sensors.
Asus ROG Phone 2 price and availability
Asus ROG Phone 2 is again back on pre-order on Flipkart e-commerce store. The company launched the smartphone in two storage variants 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and the 12GB RAM with 512GB. The 8Gb RAM option comes with a price tag of Rs 37,999 while the latter one comes at Rs 59,999. Initial offers might include a 10% discount with ICICI cards.
Asus ROG Phone 2 specifications
Asus ROG Phone 2 runs on Android 9 Pie with ROG UI skinned on top. It features a 6.59-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with 1,080×2,340 pixels of resolution and 120Hz of refresh rate. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SoC processor, with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of internal storage.
In terms of optics, Asus ROG Phone 2 sports a dual rear camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor and a 13-megapixel secondary sensor with a wide-angle lens offering a 125-degree field of view. For the selfies and video calling there is a 24-megapixel camera sensor on the front.
Asus ROG Phone 2 comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor and a huge 6,000mAh battery with up to 30W fast charging support. The connectivity options on the phone include G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
