Soon ASUS will be launching three of its latest smartphones at the ZenFestival, which is going to take place on August 6 in India. The three new smartphones are the ZenFone 2 Deluxe, ZenFone Selfie and the ZenFone Laser.
Peter Chang, Managing Director, ASUS said, “We are serious about the Indian market which is growing tougher day by day and that is why we want to do something different. We will showcase more products and share their prices at the Zen Festival. He also announced that some major changes are made to the Zen user interface to make the phone’s battery last longer and provide a lag-free experience for users.”
The ZenFone 2 Deluxe will feature a 5.5-inch full HD display. It will be powered by a 64-bit class based Quad-Core 2.3GHz Intel Atom processor Z3580 with PowerVR G6430 GPU coupled with 4GB of RAM. This smartphone will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop with ZenUI. ZenFone 2 Deluxe is expected to have 64GB of internal storage, which can further be expanded via a microSD card. The device is said to come equipped with a 13MP rear camera with PixelMaster technology along with a 5MP front facing camera. It will also feature dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth as connectivity options. The ZenFone 2 Deluxe would house a 3,000 mAh battery.
The next smartphone to be revealed this week is the ZenFone Selfie. It will feature a 5.5-inch full HD display. The smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Series Octa-core (1.7GHz quad-core ARM Cortex A53 + 1.0GHz quad-core A53) CPU with Adreno 405 GPU. This smartphone will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop with ZenUI. It also features 16GB internal storage with 2GB of RAM and 32GB with 3GB of RAM (can be extended via a microSD card).
The Asus ZenFone Selfi sports twin 13 MP cameras located at the back and front, which come with dual LED flash. It will also feature dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, GPS, USB and Bluetooth as connectivity options. The ZenFone Selfie would house a 3,000 mAh battery.
