After a 10-month ban, Battlegrounds Mobile India to soon make a comeback. The Krafton-owned mobile game was banned in India in July of 2022 following a government directive. Soon it was removed from Google Play Store and App Store. It was banned similar to PUBG was banned and vanished from India. For those who are unaware PUBG was relaunched in India by the name of BGMI also known as Battlegrounds Mobile India. Apart from the new branding, the game was specifically designed for Indian users.
Battlegrounds Mobile India tragedy in India is soon to become a thing of the past. Krafton the parent company of the popular game has announced that it is going to relaunch BGMI in India. The battle-royale game is making a comeback after it was banned in July last year by the Indian government owing to privacy and security concerns. However New State Mobile, a different app that Krafton owns is still operating in the country.

BGMI quickly gained a lot of popularity after its debut in India. Shortly after a year after its release, the game passed the 100 million user mark. With 24 million concurrent viewers and 200 million viewers overall, BGMI created history by becoming the first Esports event to be televised on mainstream television.
