Dell unveiled Alienware x15 and Alienware x17 gaming laptops with Tiger Lake-H CPUs and GeForce RTX 30-Series GPUs

Both the gaming laptops will be available from June 15 onwards

Today Dell announced its latest X-series of gaming laptops in the market. The new gaming lineup includes two laptops Alienware x15 and Alienware x17 featuring a 15-inches and a 17inches display respectively. Both the laptops come with a slim design. It is powered by the latest Intel’s Tiger Lake-H CPUs coupled with GeForce RTX 30-Series GPUs.

Dell commented at the launch, “Today, with the launch of X-Series we’re proud to present Alienware’s thinnest 15” and 17” gaming laptops, introducing the first-ever Alienware x15 and Alienware x17. With breakthrough system-level engineering controls to let you play the latest and greatest game titles with confidence, it boasts patent-pending cooling technologies, the latest performance components, framerate-splitting displays and Legend 2.0 design features. What’s more, our collaboration with Intel helped us achieve one of the thinnest form factors ever seen in a PC of this calibre.”

Dell Alienware x15 and Alienware x17 Price and availability

The Dell Alienware x15 and Alienware x17 will be available in a limited configuration from today onwards and full configuration from June 15. The price of both the laptops starts at $1,999.99 (Rs 1.46 lakh), $2,099.99 (Rs 1.58 lakhs) respectively.

The Dell Alienware x15 and Alienware x17 come with a similar design as the M15 and M17 laptops measuring just 0.6 inches and 0.8 inches in thickness. The devices have a thermal design and feature a quad-fan that ensures efficient heat dissipation. The Alienware X15 features a 15-inch full HD display with 165Hz or 360Hz refresh rate support. Whereas the X17 comes with a 17-inch QHD display with 240Hz refresh rate support provided with the same two full HD options or a UHD (4K) 120Hz panel.

Both the gaming laptops are powered by 11th-gen Intel Core i7(with up to 64GB of XMP RAM clocked at 3,466MHz) or Core i9 ( with 16GB VRAM clocked at 1,710MHz) Tiger Lake-H processor and coupled with up to GeForce RTX 3080 GPUs for graphics. It offers up to 4TB of SSD storage maxes out to 32GB (X15)and 64GB (X17)of memory. To beautify there is AlienFX customizable key and chassis lighting with G-Sync and Advanced Optimus in addition to changeable modes. 

Both the Alienware laptops also include a fresh new keyboard with 1.5mm key travel however the big-sized model offers a Cherry MX mechanical keyboard with a 3.5mm ultra-low-profile design.
