Flipkart’s Flipstart Days sale to kickstart on December 1

This three-day sale period offers exciting discount across different categories.

In order to give one a chance to shop for their favourite products while they continue to save, Flipkart’s Flipstart Days sale will start on December 1. This sale, which ends on December 3, 2020, will offer up to 80 percent discount on electronic accessories as well as nearly 50 percent discount on TVs, ACs, and refrigerators.

Expect 40-80 percent off on clothes, footwear and accessories; beauty, sports and baby care from 99 Rupees, up to 80 percent off on electronic accessories, TVs, ACs and refrigerators at up to 50 percent off, furniture at a minimum 30 percent discount and home decor from 30-75 percent off among other exciting deals. During the Flipkart’s Flipstart Days sale, one can avail a special discount on Electronic & Accessories with almost a discount of 70 percent on headphones and speakers, up to 30 percent off on best-selling laptops, Besides these categories, there are top 20 trimmers with starting price of Rs 399 as well as cameras and accessories with a starting price of Rs 799.

Moreover, one can ease the daily chores by availing special discounts on smart TVs, juicer mixer grinders, home appliances as well as heating appliances. Flipkart is also offer complete appliance protection, no cost EMI, exchange offers. Under trusted & most favourite Flipkart brands, mobile accessories are available at a starting price of Rs 129. Additionally, there is a discount of 40 percent on refrigerators, TVs etc.

Meanwhile, Flipkart has acquired Intellectual Property of Mech Mocha-a mobile gaming startup that runs India’s first live-social gaming platform ‘Hello Play’. The aim behind this is to strengthen its gaming strategy as Social mobile gaming is seeing massive growth and adoption in India owing to the COVID-19 panedmic. Apart from this acquisition of the company’s IP, Mech Mocha’s skilled gaming team will also collaborate with Flipkart as the company continues to focus on developing new and innovative formats to engage with users on its platform.

The Mech Mocha team will focus on scaling Flipkart’s gaming efforts under the leadership of Prakash Sikaria, Vice-President at Flipkart. Emphasising that Flipkart focuses on providing consumers with an opportunity to access great products and content, Prakash Sikaria, Vice-President, Flipkart, said, “We see many first-time e-commerce users come online through formats such as video and games, as they build familiarity with the medium. Our observations of Flipkart GameZone, reflect this trend as we see a strong correlation between casual gamers becoming early shoppers on Flipkart for their digital journey.”

According to Flipkart, Mech Mocha’s gaming platform supports seven Indian local languages and has more than 10 games. The list comprises of Indian multiplayer games such as Ludo, Carrom, Snakes & Ladder and Cricket.
