Garmin announced the launch of its latest collection of smartwatches in India. Garmin Venu Sq and Garmin Venu Sq Music Edition have been officially launched. Both the smartwatches are similar but the Music edition allows you to download songs to your watch including playlist from Spotify and more. While the standard variant comes with daily style with health monitoring and fitness features.
Garmin Venu Sq and Venu Sq Music Edition price and availability
Garmin Venu Sq will be available in India with a price tag of Rs 21,090. Whereas Garmin Venu Sq Music Edition smartwatch is priced at Rs 26,290. The standard model comes in three colour options orchid/metallic orchid, white/light gold, and shadow gray/slate. The Venu Sq Music Edition will be offered in light sand/rose gold, navy/light gold, moss/slate, and black/slate colour options.
Right now, both the wearables are available via Garmin retail stores and later on these will be accessible via e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Paytm Mall, and Tata CliQ. In addition to this the buyers can also purchase them through Helios watch stores, Garmin stores, Just in Time, Lifestyle, Kamal Watch, and Malabar Watch.

As we mentioned earlier both Garmin Venu Sq and Garmin Venu Sq Music Edition smartwatch looks similar but first, we will talk about similarities then we will get on to differences. Both feature a 1.3-inch colour display. This wearable comes with 20 inbuilt sports apps for indoor and outdoor activities that include yoga, Pilates, running, cycling, strength training, and others. In addition to this, the Garmin smartwatches incorporated health monitoring features such as advanced sleep with pulse oximetry, respiration tracking, abnormal heart rate alerts, menstrual cycle tracking, stress tracking with relax reminders, as well as hydration tracking.
In addition to this, the smartwatches have Innovative Body Battery energy monitoring feature so that users can keep track of their energy levels. Both the watches can be paired with Garmin Coach for free training plans. Also, one can directly reply from their watch when they receive messages. The Garmin Venu Sq and Garmin Venu Sq Music Edition smartwatch offer up to six days of battery life in smartwatch mode and up to 14 hours in GPS mode.
Coming to differences, Garmin Venu Sq Music Edition comes with onboard music storage. You can easily download songs on the smartwatch from Spotify, Amazon Music or Deezer and connect with wireless headphones for phone-free listening.
