Nokia XR20 has officially made its debut in the Indian market today. The device has a military-grade design and it is built to withstand extreme temperatures between +55C to -20C, 1.8-meter drops, 1 hour underwater and much more. In addition to this, the phone is powered by Snapdragon 480 SoC and was featured in the worldwide blockbuster James Bond movie No Time To Die.

Nokia XR20 price in India and availability
Nokia XR20 has been launched in India in a single 6GB RAM with 128GB storage options. The Nokia phone is priced at Rs 46,999. The device will be made available in two colour options of Ultra Blue and Granite. The smartphone will be available for pre-booking from 20-29 October 2021 and the sales will start from 30 October.
Customers who pre-book the smartphone can avail free gifts such as a Nokia Power Earbuds Lite worth INR 3,599, and One year of screen protection plan. The phone will be available for purchase across leading offline retail stores, e-commerce platforms and Nokia.com.

The biggest USP of the Nokia XR20 is its design and build. Let’s understand that first. As the device comes with MIL-STD810H certification the phone is built to endure blistering temperatures from +55C to -20C and a 1.8meter drop will do nothing to it. It can also survive under water measuring up to 1.8meters for an hour. Also, if it gets dirty, you can give it a good scrub with soap and water.
Nokia XR20 comes with a 6.67-inch full HD+ display offering 1,080×2,400 pixels of resolution. The device offers an aspect ratio of 20:9, 550 nits of brightness and it comes with a layering of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus to prevent the screen from any breakage and scratches. On the software front, the phone offers an Android 11 stock experience with four years of monthly security updates, the latest software upgrades for up to three years, and future-proofed 5G.
Under its hood, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM along with 128GB of storage. The optics department has been taken care of by a ZEISS optics dual rear camera set up that houses a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.79 aperture and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.4 aperture.
The rear camera also features ZEISS Portrait, ZEISS Cinematic Effects, SpeedWarp mode, Action Cam mode, Night mode, Cinema mode, HDR, Beautification, Panorama, Watermark. Upfront there is an 8-megapixel camera sensor housed inside a centre punch hole for taking selfies and video calling.
For connectivity, Nokia XR20 includes 5G, 4G LTE, GPS/A-GPS, Galileo, GLONASS/A-GLONASS, Beidou, QZSS, NavIC, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax-ready, Wi-Fi dual-band (2.4GHz + 5.0GHz), 2×2 MiMo NFC Supported, USB Type-C (USB 3.0 5Gbps) OTG Bluetooth 5.1 and 3.5mm headphones jack.
Nokia XT20 comes with a 4,630mAh removable battery along with 18W wired fast charging, 15W wireless charging, Qi wireless charging, Quick Charge 4.0 and AI battery saving technology. In addition to this, the phone equips extra loud speakers (96dB), OZO Playback, OZO Spatial Audio capture with wind noise reduction, aptX Adaptive and aptX Voice.
