HP on Tuesday introduced a new gaming laptop in the Indian market under its Omen Series. The company has introduced a new HP Omen 16 that comes with improved features like fan design and thermals. It is capable of handling high-end gaming titles and supports up to a 165Hz refresh rate. In addition to this, the HP gaming laptop includes a Next-gen 11th Gen Intel Core Processor & NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series graphics.

HP Omen 16 price in India starts at Rs 1,39,999. It can be purchased at HP world stores, HP online stores & other leading large format retail & online stores in the country.

Talking about the design first, HP Omen 16 gaming laptop comes with a sustainable PC design made with ocean-bound plastics and recycled materials. It features a 16-inch QHD IPS display with a 165Hz Hz refresh rate and 3ms response time. The screen offers 100% sRGB, Flicker-free and colours accurate low blue light with Eyesafe display certification by TÜVRheinlan to keep eyes fresh during extended gaming sessions. It also has the 4 Zone RGB anti-ghosting keyboard with OMEN Gaming Hub Light Studio integration to achieve a look that is on point with any gaming setup theme.

In terms of hardware, the gaming laptops equips up to Intel Core i7-11800H3 series processors Mobile Processors with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU 8 GB. The device will be available with up to 16 GB DDR4 3200 MHz and with up to 1TB PCIe Gen 4×4 SSD which has up to 2X storage access speed than traditional SSD.

HP Omen 16 comes with an upgraded new fan design that is 2.5X slimmer and has twice the number of fan blades as the previous generation offering a 200% increase in blade count compared to the OMEN 15. There is OMEN Dynamic Power along with the IR thermopile sensor that can identify real-time CPU and GPU capacity and dynamically allocate power between the CPU and GPU, thereby providing additional headroom and optimising in-game FPS based on the current game scenery. The IR thermopile sensor on the gaming laptop can absorb passive infrared energy from an item, an infrared thermopile sensor may determine the temperature of that object without direct contact. According to HP, the IR thermopile sensor is used to enable thermal, performance, and acoustic optimization based on the current user scenario, resulting in a better user experience.
