A few weeks ago iQoo Z5 was launched and now the company has introduced the successor to the smartphone. The iQoo Z5x is the latest to join its sibling. The company has introduced the phone in China. It is powered by Dimensity 900 SOC and comes with 44W fast charging support. It also offers 5G connectivity and includes dedicated features for an enhanced gaming experience.
iQoo Z5x tech specs and features
iQoo Z5x is highlighted with a 6.58-inch FHD+ display offering 1,080×2,408 pixels of resolution. The screen also offers 120Hz refresh rate support with a 240Hz touch sampling rate and 20: 9 aspect ratio. The phone operates on OriginOS 1.0 based on Android 11 out of the box. The handset is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

The phone features a dual rear camera setup that consists of a 50MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP macro lens. Besides this, the device includes an 8MP front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture for taking selfies and video calling.
iQoo Z5x packs a 5,000mAh battery with 44W flash charge support that is claimed to charge the phone from zero to 58 percent in about half an hour. Moreover, thermal management has been taken care of by a five-layer liquid cooling system. In terms of connectivity, the phone includes 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth version 5.2, WiFi 6, GPS, Type C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. In addition to this, there is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

iQoo Z5x has been launched in China with a price tag of CYN 1,599 that translates to Rs 18,800 for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage model. The price of the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage variant has been set at CYN 1,699 that converts to Rs 20,000 whereas the top of the line 8GB RAM with 256 internal storage configuration will be available at CYN 1,899 which is roughly around Rs 22,300.
The new smartphone will be available in three colour options of Black, White and Sandstone Orange. As of now the device is up for preorder and will be going on sale from October 30. There has been no word from the company regarding iQoo Z5x’s international availability.
