Vivo’s sub-brand iQoo offers a good range of gaming-focused phones in the Indian market. The company has now partnered with Krafton for the Battlegrounds Mobile India series. The smartphone company will be the title sponsor for the e-sports tournament which is the biggest Battle Royale Esports event in India.

With Krafton and iQoo’s partnership, the upcoming Battlegrounds Mobile India series will be streamed not only on the BGMI’s official channel but on iQoo Esports official YouTube channel. The total prize pool for winners of this one of its kind tournament will be a whopping Rs 1 crore.
The registered players for the Battlegrounds Mobile India series will be participating in the in-game qualifiers from which 1024 teams will proceed to Round 1.

Separately iQoo announced the launch of iQoo Z5 in India recently. It comes with a 6.67-inch full HD+ LCD display with 1,080 X 2,400 pixels of resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate support. The phone runs on Origin OS 1.0 on top of Android 11. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC with Adreno 642L GPU. It comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The phone includes a 64MP triple rear camera set up and a 16MP selfie camera. There is VC liquid cooling for temperature reduction, 4G game vibration along with the linear motor, and Ultra Game Mode 2.0 for gaming. The gaming smartphone also houses a 5,000mAh battery with 44W flash charge fast charging support.
